This was a gift for a long time friend, so I did not see it myself. My friend, who is truthful and outspoken, said she loved it. She told me she had been wearing it since she received it, which tells me the chain did not break for at least the first 2 weeks. This pendant is for someone who prefers smaller rather than larger pieces of jewelry. I am told Dolphins represent Joy, and a Circle is Never Ending, so I think this pendant is a lovely gift that can let a friend know that the Joy of shared Friendship is Never Ending.
